Mimosa: A Pleasant Buzz

The word ‘Mimosa’ may bring to mind the image of lounging by the pool on a sunny day; a delicious drink in your hand and good friends by your side. In other words, pure bliss. Today we will be talking about a different kind of Mimosa- one you can’t drink but should certainly be enjoyed with good friends and also comes with a high chance of pure bliss. Mimosa  is a sativa-dominant hybrid and a rising star in the world of flower due to its high energy buzz and delicious clementine flavor. The team at Space Monkey Meds have brought an amazing batch of this strain into the world and we were lucky enough to get our hands on some.

Mimosa is a sativa-dominant hybrid, offspring to Clementine and Purple Punch. It induces an uplifting and balanced high, perfect for social and physical activities. The mental effect gradually builds from a light buzz up to a balanced euphoria perfect for stimulating conversations and creative endeavors. While many other strains leave a groggy after-effect for hours after the high has worn off, Mimosa will leave you with a clear and unabated joy. The effect on the body is energizing but balanced, making it the perfect addition to physically demanding activities like hiking or running.

Flavor and Aroma

High levels of beta-caryophyllene, linalool and limonene terpenes result in an aroma and taste profile that are deliciously citrusy and sweet. Subtle notes of earth are a nice compliment to the  tangerine dominated flavor profile.

Mimosa buds are slightly below average-size, round and puffy. The contrast between light green leaves covered in snow-white frost and bright orange pistils bursting out from underneath is truly remarkable. As for density, they sit at a nice spot between fluffy and firm.

An uplifting buzz and moderate body effects make Mimosa a prime candidate for outdoors activities with friends. This, combined with a delicious tangerine flavor will have you returning to this strain again and again.
